For the first time in recent years, Legacy took on the challenge of hosting a few basketball tournaments! Both were a great success!

On Saturday January 6th, the MS-White Boys Basketball team hosted a community tournament with participation from PACT Charter School, Davincii Academy, & traveling teams from Blaine & Centennial.  With some help from the HS team at the scorers table and in the concession stand we were able to host 9 games throughout the day. Legacy boys made it to the championship game and took 2nd place overall.

Then on Friday and Saturday January 19-20, they hosted the NSPSL Varsity Tier 2 tournament as the #1 Seed. In this league sponsored tournament, the team took home first place!

The team also took part in an MCAA Conference MS Tournament on Homecoming Saturday at New Life Academy, bringing home 2nd place once again.

As the MS-White team is Legacy’s MS traveling team, the boys have a slightly extended season and will see a few more games and tournaments this month before wrapping up their season during the final weekend of February.
