Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year!

We are busy confirming schedules, teaching assignments, class rosters, and more, which will be announced on Friday, August 2!

Our annual back-to-school mailing will be delivered to your home by August 5. It contains A LOT of important information as we jump into the 2024-25 school year. All of that information will also be posted here as it gets confirmed.

Please note, there are TWO Open Houses and TWO Day Ones this year, divided by divisions!

All school supplies for PreK-4 are included in tuition and will be available for students to unpack and sort at the PreK, Elementary, & Middle School Open House on Monday, August 19. In addition, all students in grades 9-11 will automatically receive a locker this year.

Back2School Checklist

Website Browser Instructions for the FACTS Family Portal. Everything in the FACTS Family Portal can also be accessed directly through the app. Download in your App Store today!

  • Log in to FACTS Family Portal through a non-mobile web browser by visiting factsmgt.com and logging in with district code LC-MN followed by your username and password. 
    • Webforms: Submit Required Medical Health Form
    • Webforms: Submit Required Student Driver Vehicle Permit Form (if you have a student driver)
    • Webforms: Register for PreK-4 Aftercare Registration (if you have a student in PreK-4 that will need Aftercare during the school year). You will have an opportunity to request key fobs.
    • Webforms: Submit the FREE Mane Event Registration (if you intend on attending our favorite All-Community event!)
    • Family Home: Review each family member’s contact information using the Family Member drop-down in the Family Home section of the FACTS Family Portal. Email [email protected] with any updates.
    • Family Home: Review each child’s approved pick-up and emergency contacts under the Family Member drop-down (select Child) in the Family Home section of the FACTS Family Portal. Email [email protected] with any updates.
    • Family>Financial: Add funds to your FACTS Cafeteria PrePay Account for lunch/milk expenses under Family > Financial
    • Student>Lunch: View the August-September lunch menu in your FACTS Family Portal under Student > Lunch (Menu will post closer to the start of the school year)
    • Grades 5-12: Review Class Schedule in your FACTS Family Portal (Available Friday, August 9)

Student Health Meetings

  • Submit your child’s updated immunization records to the Health Office if your child is entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, 12th grade, or if you are a new family to Legacy
  • Grades 9-12: Verify that your student has a laptop for technology needs at school that meets the minimum requirements for compatibility with our network.

  • Plan for Open House nights I High School: Thursday, August 15 I PreK, Elementary & Middle School: Monday, August 19
    • Grades PreK-4 Sign up to meet with your teacher (Teacher assignments will be announced on Friday, August 2)

School Pictures

There is NO preordering school pictures this year!

 

This year our School Picture Day is scheduled for September 9-10 with Slow Roads Photography.

Picture Day with Slow Road Photo is a little different, in all the best ways! Get ready for the BEST PICTURE DAY EVER! With Slow Road Photo, there is NO PRE-ORDERING! Because they deliver multiple poses, your family will have the opportunity to see your photos before you even place an order. Families will each receive a unique link to their student’s gallery via email on the contracted gallery release date on September 26.

Technology Requirements

All students in grades 9-11 will receive a locker this year. If you are in 12th grade and would like a locker, please send a request to [email protected].

Student drivers are required to park in the West Parking Lot and enter at Door 13. The only exception to this is the Day 1 Celebration. If you are a student driver, the Required Student Driver Permit form needs to be completed in your FACTS Family Portal.

Drop Off & Pick Up Map

Morning Drop Off:

Families with at least one 5th-12th grade student may drop off all children on the Meadow Creek Church side to enter Door 13.

Families with students in grades K-8 may enter the East Parking Lot at the Heather Street stoplight to drop off at the Academic Entrance Door 7.

PreK parents may park on either side of the building based on their students’ classroom location and use Door 1 or Door 8. 

Student Drivers

ALL student drivers are only allowed to park in the West Parking Lot and enter Door 13. NO student parking is allowed in the East Parking Lot or small church lots except for the Day 1 Celebration. 

Afternoon Pick Up

Families with last names starting with A-K will pick up and exit from the East Parking Lot.

Families with last names starting with L-Z will pick up and exit from the West Parking Lot.

Please have your family pickup sign visible in the front passenger window. (Signs will be available at Open House and are downloadable below).

Will be available at Open House w/ a pickup route map on the back.

Please use this for the first 2 weeks of school in your front passenger window to help the efficiency of after school pickup.
